Madrid is the capital of Spain with the population of 3.3 million in the city, while it is 6.5 million in the metropolitan area. It comprises an area of 604.3 square km. After London and Berlin, it’s the 3rd largest in European Union. It is the home of Spanish Royal Family and a center of Spain’s government too. Being the center of the country geographically, it is connected to every major city and is surrounded by striking mountains. The community comprises of Castile-La Macha and Castile and Leon. The climate is mostly dry in summers with maximum temperature of 29Cº and minimum in winters of 4Cº.



The city remained to be a popular tourist destination offering the ancient culture of Spain. It is full of palaces, monuments, museums, and statues. From golf to Skiing, Madrid is very sport enthusiastic, offering sports events and matches throughout the year.
