Kashmir  The beautiful valley of Kashmir needs no introduction. For thousands of years people from all over the world have been enchanted by the breath-taking beauty of the valley nestled in the Himalayan Mountains to the north of Pakistan and India. The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan aptly nicknamed it the Paradise on Earth. Poets and artists have been praising the splendor of the valley for centuries. Its not just the natural beauty but the lovely architecture also captures the attention of anyone who visits the land. Although the valley of Kashmir has been involved in a power struggle between India and Pakistan since 1947; it doesn’t stop tourists from visiting the beautiful valley and seeing the enchanting place for themselves.

 Another thing people can do in Kashmir is shopping. If you ever go to Kashmir valley don’t forget to visit the local bazaars. You would be surprised to find hand woven shawls and blankets, jewelry and dry fruits at extremely affordable costs. You should also try local recipes that are enriched with spices. The people of Kashmir are friendly and hospitable and would welcome you to their homeland with open arms. Although the weather becomes hostile during winter, it stays mild throughout the summer. A tour of Kashmir Valley would be an unforgettable experience that would stay with you for the rest of your life.
