Split Croatia Fantastic Place For Summer Vacation

Split is the largest Dalmatian city and the second largest city in Croatia. Distributed over a central peninsula and its surroundings, a larger area of the division, which includes the surrounding seaside towns as well. A regional transport hub, the city is a link to many islands of the Adriatic Sea and the Apennine peninsula, as well as a popular tourist destination.

Split is also one of the oldest cities in the region. Although traditionally considered just over 1,700 years old from the date of construction of the Palace of Diocletian in AD305.Diocletian Place one of the best Roman royal residences on the planet. The structure is more like a city housing sixteen towers, three temples and an emperor's mausoleum. The historic center of Split was included into the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The city is said to be one of the centers of Croatian culture. Split is also popular for its museums and galleries. The Gallery of Fine Arts, The Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments, The Croatian Maritime Museum and The Ethnographical Museum are some popular names of art and culture in the city.

 Split is a rich culture city and you will found historic heritages, monuments and old structure buildings everywhere. You will enjoy the fun as well as the Croatian traditional food, yes you can found here many Croatian traditional foods and i am sure you will never taste it before. There are a large variety of restaurants and cafes around the city so its depend on your choice what you like to eat. Prices are almost normal as there are many small cafes which can offer you the real Croatian taste on very low cost.
