ReplyDeleteUnless Bora Bora has changed their attitude towards tourists, I don't think it'd be my first choice of places to visit. No disrespect meant, but my friends went there, a young "uppie type" couple and certainly had no problems with money. But they were still treated badly, as if they weren't welcomed there! I hope it's changed - that's been many years ago. Most "touristy" type places aren't like that because that's how they make their living! I don't really know what all the details were but basically they felt like they got treated like "second class citizens", even with a BIG wad of $$$ to spend! My girlfriend told her husband that they will NEVER go back there again, and wouldn't recommend it to ANYONE! Just sayin'......
